Vienna, being a popular congress-town since a long time, offers a huge number of different hotels in any kind of category. February usually is THE 'Ball' season (that's where you dance all the 'Waltzes' and other kinds of classical dance), and it is recommendable not to wait too long with your booking.

If you would like to stay close to the Vienna city center, we recommend to book a hotel near Schottentor, which is easily reachable from the Observatory within 20 to 25 minutes by public transport.

Below we have indicated a few hotels, of which we usually recommend the Arcotel Boltzmann to our institute guests, but all the others, and many more ;-) in the area, are good options aswell!
